This page is completely secure - no information is transmitted over the internet and all encoding / decoding is processed within your browser. AES 256bit encryption is a high level [so far] unbreakable method of keeping information secret.

There are no backdoors or methods of decoding without a valid 'key'. This means that if you forget your key your information will not be recoverable. If you want to maximise your security ensure that you use a key that is at least 20 characters in length using a mix of numbers, letters or phrases up to 1000 characters in total. Keys with less than 8 characters may be breakable by using a brute force attack method over time.

You can safely store encrypted information in an online email account or online notebook/website and when you need to read it - copy the text back into the 'Cipher Text' form with the original 'Key' and you will be able to decode this information safely from any location. If you have used copy/cut and paste on this page remember to clear your clipboard by copying other useless text when you have finished using this site. Always ensure your PC is virus free before encoding or decoding anything.
